John Harbaugh is Overhauling NY Giants Coaching Staff

The expected changes to the New York Giants coaching staff under new head coach John Harbaugh have begun. With the exception of Charlie Bullen all of the team’s 2025 defensive coaches have been let go.

Assistant coaches Andre Patterson (defensive line), John Egorugwu (inside linebackers), Marquand Manuel (secondary coach/pass game coordinator) and Jeff Burris (cornerbacks) will not be retained. Assistant defensive line coach Bryan Cox had previously been fired by interim head coach Mike Kafka.

Bullen, the outside linebackers coach, did an excellent job as interim defensive coordinator after taking over for the fired Shane Bowen. Bullen has a previous relationship with GM Joe Schoen, and has also been getting interviews for vacant defensive coordinator positions. Bullen is not yet guaranteed to remain on Harbaugh’s staff.

The defense massively underperformed in 2025 under Bowen. When Brian Daboll was fired as head coach in the middle of the 2025 season and GM Joe Schoen was retained, ownership made it clear that it felt the Giants’ biggest issue had been coaching.

Chicago Style Pizza in New York City

While NYC is full of can’t-miss pizzerias, sometimes it’s fun to try an out-of-state-inspired slice. Newly opened Chicago deep dish spot, Emmett’s on Grove, is Emmett Burke’s contribution to the pizza scene.

We recommend a tavern-style thin crust pie like the Hot Poppy (pepperoni, red onions, jalapenos, and house-made paprika ranch) or combine your personal favorite ingredients with a build-your-own option.

Other Windy City classic dishes make an appearance on the menu as well like the baby back ribs and twice-baked potato; or try an American take on fish and chips. Peruse the lengthy wine menu or indulge in a dessert cocktail like the Grasshopper.

New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Matchup

The two teams met in Super Bowl XLIX, when New England narrowly escaped, 28-24, thanks to Malcolm Butler’s game-sealing interception on the goal line. Seattle’s decision to not run the ball in for a potential touchdown with Marshawn Lynch went down in NFL history.

Now, the Seahawks will have a chance for some long-awaited get-back against New England.

Wrestling Stars To Get Long-Term Contracts

It’s a big year for AEW President Tony Khan as he looks to keep some of his biggest stars under contract.

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are now in this spot where they will have to decide whether to stay with AEW, a company they helped launch, or jump to the rival promotion.

All three deals are slated to expire later this year. AEW wants to sign them to new deals before becoming free agents.

The Elite recently lost the AEW Trios Championships to the House Of Black. They’re slated to take on the Jericho Appreciation Society and House of Black on Dynamite with the titles on the line.

200 Madison Ave. Lobby Gets Landmark Status

The neo-Renaissance lobby inside 200 Madison Avenue has been designated a city landmark.

The Landmarks Preservation Commission unanimously approved the designation as an interior landmark. The lobby is inside the vaulted arcade that spans the building between East 35th and East 36th Streets.

Built in the 1920s by the architecture firm Warren and Wetmore, the lobby’s gilded and ornate aesthetic includes patterned terrazzo floors and marble walls. The arched bays along the ceifilled with floral mosaics, animal medallions and projecting lion heads, according to the LPC.

The lobby looks very much as it did when it first opened in 1926. Historic preservation experts say 200 Madison is among many treasures the city needs to protect.
