Johnny Knoxville to Host Reboot Series ‘Fear Factor’

The network previously announced it was bringing back the show, which originally aired on NBC from 2001-2006, hosted by Joe Rogan. The show was revived by MTV in 2017 for two seasons, emceed by Ludacris.

Fox said the series will gather a group of strangers and put them under one roof in an “unforgiving, remote location.” The plan is to then throw “mind-blowing stunts and harrowing challenges” at them as they participate in a “twisted game of social strategy,” said Fox. Casting for contestants is open to those 18 and older in the United States and Canada.

  • Giants’ Brian Daboll Leads the List of 7 NFL Coaches on the Hot Seat

Giants’ Brian Daboll Leads the List of 7 NFL Coaches on the Hot Seat

Last year, there were eight new NFL head coaches. It was five the year before that, and a stunning 10 in 2022.

In other words, it’s inevitable that some of the head coaches at the start of this season will be replaced by the start of the 2026 season. That’s the nature of an impatient league. Here are the seven coaches on the hot seat this season.

    Brian Daboll, New York Giants

    Brian Callahan, Titans

    Zac Taylor, Bengals

    Shane Steichen, Colts

    Kevin Stefanski, Browns

    Mike McDaniel, Dolphins

    Dave Canales, Panthers

  • Denver Broncos Beat New York Jets 13-11

Denver Broncos Beat New York Jets 13-11

The Jets are now 0-6 for the first time since 2020 and coach Aaron Glenn is the first Jets coach to begin his career with six straight losses.

A week after the Jets defense looked horrible, it was the offense’s turn. The Jets got nothing going and failed to score a touchdown for the first time this season.

Quarterback Justin Fields held onto the ball too long repeatedly and was sacked nine times, and the Jets went nearly 28 minutes of game time without a first down to start. The Jets had minus-10 passing yards in the game.

The Jets got the ball with a chance to kick the game-winning field goal but failed to get close enough. They got the ball at their own 43 with 2:23 left. They moved it to the Broncos 44 but Talanoa Hufanga broke up a third-down pass to Garrett Wilson. On fourth-and-8, Fields was sacked  and the game was over.

  • Giants Stun Super Bowl Champion Eagles 34-17

Giants Stun Super Bowl Champion Eagles 34-17

Dart, making his third NFL start after taking over from struggling veteran Russell Wilson, threw for one touchdown and ran for another and rookie running back Cam Skattebo rushed for 98 yards and three TDs as the Giants pulled away for just their second victory of the season in the NFC East division clash at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The Eagles had been aiming to regroup after seeing their four-game winning streak to start the season end with a 27-17 loss to Denver on Sunday.

After a back and forth first half, Philadelphia turned the ball over twice as they failed to score after the break.

The Giants scored touchdowns on three of four possessions and gained 198 yards in the first half and Skattebo powered into the end zone early in the third.

  • New York Jet Quarterback Justin Fields is Facing a Make or Break Season

New York Jet Quarterback Justin Fields is Facing a Make or Break Season

Most NFL players have short careers. They only have a few seasons to prove they can be difference makers at their positions, or their teams and then the rest of the league moves on fast.

It’s a stressful world, and each season just about every player needs to prove his worth all over again. But to some players, there is extra pressure to perform this season to establish themselves as impact players or earn a big new contract.

The Jets still have plenty of talent and there’s no real competition for Fields on the roster. He should get the season to prove what he can do. However, a poor preseason passing the ball didn’t inspire much confidence heading into the season. This might be Fields’ last good chance to establish himself as a regular starter in the NFL.

  • Dallas Cowboys Destroy New York Jets 37-22

Dallas Cowboys Destroy New York Jets 37-22

Any notion of the New York Jets winning their first game of the season vanished in a matter of one minute Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.

That’s because they allowed two Dallas Cowboys touchdowns in the final 57 seconds of the first half, burying themselves in too deep of a hole for any chance at a comeback.

Jets QB Justin Fields was sacked five times, Breece Hall fumbled away a key opportunity in the first half, and the Jets offense couldn’t convert on two fourth-and-1 plays, all adding up to a long afternoon in East Rutherford.

The Jets offense was held to six points until the fourth quarter, the offensive line gave up five sacks to a Cowboys defense that, up until then, had no pass rush through the opening month. 10 penalties crippled the Jets.

Justin Fields threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns while running for 26, and Breece Hall rushed for 113. Dak Prescott threw four touchdown passes to continue his MVP-like pace, and the Cowboys ran for 180 yards.

  • Giants Destroyed by Turnovers in Brutal Loss to Lowly Saints

Giants Destroyed by Turnovers in Brutal Loss to Lowly Saints

For a brief moment there, it sure looked like the New York Giants had turned a corner. Jaxson Dart, making his second start, had thrown two touchdown passes to establish an 11-point lead over New Orleans early in the second quarter.

But he Giants had turnovers in virtually every possible way — gift fumbles, bad-idea interceptions — and could only watch as the Saints ran up five straight scores and 23 straight points.

“Five turnovers to zero,” Giants head coach Brian Daboll said after the game, “you’re not going to win in this league.”

And just like that, the brief flash of hope that ran through the Giants organization flickered and went dark. Dart completed 26 of 40 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns, but two interceptions were part of the brutal, repeated misfires that cost the Giants the game.

  • Jets Fall to 0-4 With Loss to Dolphins

Jets Fall to 0-4 With Loss to Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins ruined Fields’ return, beating the Jets 27-21 on Monday Night Football in Week 4. The dual-threat quarterback had some ups and downs.

Fields started poorly, losing a fumble on the Jets’ second possession. It was a brutal follow-up to a Braelon Allen fumble at the goal line on the first drive.

Fields’ most electric play was of the highlight-worthy variety. With the Jets trailing 17-3 midway through the third quarter, Aaron Glenn encouraged the offense to convert a 4th-and-1. Fields’ play-action attempt appeared dead in the backfield. That’s when he scrambled around, found the edge and rumbled for a 43-yard rushing touchdown.

All in all, Fields completed 20-of-27 passing attempts for 226 yards and a touchdown. The stats are somewhat misleading. Most of Fields’ passing production occurred in the fourth quarter with the Jets trailing by multiple scores, with the Dolphins playing a conservative prevent defense.
