Fun With Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman

A truly incredible story was shared about Dennis Rodman in “The Last Dance” documentary by ESPN.

During the 1997-1998 season, which was the last the Michael Jordan/Scottie Pippen/Phil Jackson Chicago Bulls spent together, Dennis Rodman wanted a break after helping to carry the team in Pippen’s absence. Jackson granted Rodman permission to go to Las Vegas for a few days during that time even though it was the middle of the season.

  • Amazon Revamping Whole Foods Stores

    Amazon Revamping Whole Foods Stores

Amazon-owned Whole Foods has rolled out its cashierless technology in Washington, DC.

The store announced that shoppers at the Whole Foods location in the Glover Park section of the capital would no longer need to interact with anyone at a cash register when paying for their groceries.

The company unveiled its Just Walk Out technology, which was first announced in the fall of last year, at the 21,500-square-foot location — the first of two that will be outfitted with automated cash registers.

A similar initiative is being planned for a Whole Foods in the Sherman Oaks section of Los Angeles.

Just Walk Out works by having shoppers scan their payment method of choice when walking into the store. It could be a credit card; the Amazon One payment system, which lets shoppers hover their palms over a scanner to identify themselves; or the Amazon and Whole Foods apps.

Instead of a bagger scanning each item taken, cameras and sensors track what shoppers choose and automatically charge them.

Shoppers then have to scan again upon exiting with their groceries.

At the DC and LA locations, shoppers will be able to opt out of the new technology and instead pay in the traditional way.

Amazon has said that it will gauge customer experiences in the two stores before deciding on whether to expand the feature to other Whole Foods locations around the country.

  • Ford Recalls Older Explorer SUVs

    Ford Recalls Older Explorer SUVs

The company said that A-pillar trim retention clips that run up the sides of the front windshield may not be adequately secured. As a result, the trim could fly off, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

Owners may notice gaps around the A-pillar trim or hear rattles and excessive wind noise if the trim is loose.

Ford said it has received 14,337 warranty claims over the issue but has not received any reports of injuries or crashes due to the problem.

Owners can bring their SUV to a dealership where technicians will inspect and replace the trim if necessary.

Impossible Foods Announces Plant-Based Hot Dogs

Impossible Foods announced Impossible Hot Dogs will be the brand’s latest new meat-from-plants innovation product coming to restaurants and grocery stores soon.

The company says that these hot dogs are not made with added or synthetic nitrates or nitrites like some hot dogs made from animals, although they do contain natural nitrates and nitrites from cultured celery powder.
